He laughs a little, and nods. He knows how to get to the station, the hospital--because he and his buddies have been there numerous times--and where the food is. Because that's all he really needs to know. "You can follow me..I don't remember exactly what's available, but there's probably something we'll both like."

She nodded and smiled broadly. "I'll eat anything right now, I could care less." she said, suddenly feeling like a pig. She knew she probably shouldn't be eating anything except diet dishes and salads to maintain her weight, but she was so hungry right now. She placed a hand on her stomach, remembering how important her appearance was. She sighed deeply and then looked up at David and smiled.

David glances down. He towers over most people, since he's six-six, and most people find that intimidating. Especially since he's so big. (Not fat, just really muscled.) But he's amazingly gentle. Of course, very few have stuck around long enough to figure that out. As expected, though, he has his rough tiems where he'll be all tough and angry, and drink a lot, but mostly he's caring and gentle. "Well. Let's go then." He crouches down, then jumps up, picks Abby up, and starts running in the direction of the parking lot.

She laughed lightly, placing her arms around his neck. "Well, this gives a new meaning to get up and go!" she called, a smile spreading across her face. She laughed lightly and rested her head on his shoulder. She was short to anyone, but tiny compared to the huge man. She didn't feel a need to be worried, he seemed kind, to her anyway. She didn't mind being carried, although it was quite unexpected. The smile remained on her face as she was in the man's arms.

In the Marines, David's MOS was Combat, and he'd had several occasions to help the Corpsmen carry fallen soldiers to safety. Most of the soldiers he'd carried were twice this girls' size, so carrying her is like nothing. He sets her down at the edge of the parking lot, smiling. "I don't know where your car is.." She'd told him, he thinks, but he wasn't paying attention, and wouldn't know what to look for even if he remembered.

She smiled as she looked up at him. "Thanks. It's right over there." she said softly, pointing towards a new Ford Mustang. "Well, I'll see you at the place we're eating I guess." she said softly as she waved, taking a step backwards towards her car.
